Pat James
Short Bio
Canadian singer songwriter best known for his work as former front man of Southern Rock & Blues band The Road Heavy (2014-2018) and, as of 2019, his current project Sweet and the Big Bad.
Over the last decade of writing and performing Pat has had the good fortune to share the stage with artists such as Headstones, Scott Weiland, David Wilcox, Gilby Clarke, as well as touring as the opener for Canadian Rock Royalty, The Tea Party.
The Road Heavy won the Rock 95, local & loud 2015.
In 2017 Pat spent two weeks at Metalworks Studio recording The Road Heavy's Human Condition album, which he considers to be some of his best songwriting. The album was produced by Jeff Martin of The Tea Party.
Being a songwriter has always been his true passion, even before he could play guitar. Storytelling with music and painting with words is where Pat James truly aims to shine a light on his Whole Truth.
